Mets Pitcher Bartolo Colon made history over the weekend when he became the oldest player in MLB history to hit his first career home run just a couple of weeks shy of turning 43.
His 2nd inning home run put the Mets ahead 4-0 and they eventually beat the Padres in San Diego 6-3.
How long did it take the 5 foot 11, 285 pound pitcher to trot around the bases? Statcast estimated it took him 30.5 seconds, making it one of the slowest in MLB history.
If you thought the Mets announcers were excited, here’s what the Spanish broadcasters sounded like.
